Port of Subs

This is my go to place when I wanna great sandwich. Trust me here, I am an experienced eater and nobody makes them better.

Great, freshly made subs! Their creamy cold salads are great, too!

Well I normally love this place but today when I was there I'm pretty sure they gave me white bread instead of sourdough, which is what I asked for. Next time I will be sure to double check that it's sourdough bread that they use on my sandwiches. I'm very disappointed that they weren't careful enough to give me the sourdough bread that I asked for as I am sensitive to wheat and sourdough is easier for me to tolerate than other breads. I go to Port of Subs instead of Subway specifically for this reason. Subway does not offer sourdough bread. I noticed right away that it did not taste like sourdough bread. I was too hungry to bother to come back but I'm definitely feeling the wheat symptoms. I understand that sourdough has wheat in it too but it's lighter and easier on my stomach. I also enjoy the freshness that Port of Sub tends to offer. However, I am very disappointed with the service that I received today.

Its becoming a habit to come in, they put up with my weird orders and the manager, Josh, is usuallly enjoying his time and singing to whatever he has on. Quizzing some customers for fun and overall seems to always be in a good mood. The meat is thin but it makes the whole sandwhich easier to eat. Delicious every time.
