Big Island Hawaiian BBQ

Out of all the places to eat in the general vicinity, my co-workers and I ate here 4 out of 6 days. I would have gone the other two days too were it only up to me. Great food and large portions for the cost.

My family has long been a fan of the Hawaiian BBQ chains. Our go to was always Ono's. When we moved to Gilbert this place opened up and we were sold! Overall quality is, in our opinion, better than Ono's. LARGE portions and reasonable prices. Katsu chicken is, of course, a favorite in our house and very delicious here. The fish was also enjoyable for a small local restaurant. I personally love the fir island chicken, spicy and savory! We have been multiple times and will continue to do so! Highly recommend!

Flavor was great, portions size was amazing and ease of ordering plus speed of service was excellent! I ordered the BBQ Beef salad plate and my husband ordered the beef and chicken combo. His came with a pile of steamed broccoli and cabbage under that giant pile of meat. He ate the whole plate, which means he really enjoyed it! I requested the house dressing with my salad and I loved it. It was a ginger sesame creamy dressing which compliments the flavor of their food perfectly.

I love Hawaiian BBQ and have visited all the local and chain restaurants, this one is by far the best. Flavorful, consistent and delicious, even the Diet Coke is good here. Huge portions, very friendly family staff. It’s casual dining at its finest, very reasonable prices for the portions you get. I usually get one of the 3 meat combos to share or make like 3 meals out of it. Soooooo good!

Strongly recommended! The beef short ribs are wonderful. The macaroni salad, way good. The prices are reasonable. Place is small, but bright and clean. Very much looking forward to going back.
