Dave's Hot Chicken

2 "Sliders" and fries. Chicken portions are big! Can easily fill up on a single slider and fries. Loved that they put extra pickles on the side without asking. Fries have fantastic seasoning with perfect crispiness even after a 15 minute ride home. Tried the Hot, Medium and Lite Hot. Go Lite if you're concerned about being too hot. I personally preferred the Hot. Roommate said Medium was perfect for him. Son said the Lite was perfect for him which is spot on for our palates. Will definitely be back!

The chicken slider was so good! I loved how tender and juicy the meat itself was, and the breading was so flavorful and crisp! Loved it! I also thought all the little toppings in the slider complimented the sandwich so well. The seasoned fries were also good. We ordered online, and the pickup was super quick and easy.

This is a newly opened location so it's pretty busy, and the drive thru line was long ,but I did not have trouble parking ,dining inside and finding a seat. There were multiple heat options for the chicken and I chose medium. I do enjoy a heat level around jalapeno , so I found this a tolerable heat and spice choice and I was correct. The chicken is crunchy and heavily covered in a dry spice combination that i did enjoy. A lot of the heat comes from the various spices and chili flavors. I do love pickles and the combo is served with some pickle chips.

I want to start off with the positive things about this place. They have a ton of employees working, and they have excellent customer service. We also found the restaurant to be very clean. The fries are good, and the macaroni and cheese is great. The Dave’s Sauce is really good, tasting very similar to the sauce at Cane’s. The chicken is good, but it’s not great. The sauce and pickles that they put on the sliders make the chicken pretty good. If you just went there to get their chicken, you’d be underwhelmed. The reason we won’t be returning is that for two adults and two small kids to eat, it was $70 including tax and tip. If I am paying $70 for chicken tenders, fries, a drink, and some macaroni and cheese, it had better be life-changing. Their food does not justify their prices.

Chicken is crispy, the kale slaw and pickle are the perfect touch, and I generally do not care for pickles on my hot sandwiches because they tend to be mushy/slimy. These were fab. 🤩
I had the medium on the spice range and did not find it spicy at all, so I will step it up next time. Fries are seasoned well and crunchy. Love that.
Music is loud and upbeat, staff is smiley and welcoming! (Peyton was amazing)
I love the graffiti paint inside and out.
