eegee's

I had Eegee’s one other time in Tucson and it was not good. Just got food from this one and holy cow! It was such a difference. Great sandwich. Super fresh! Way to go!

Eegees finally escapes Tucson bringing grinders and fruit ice drink things to thirsty Gilbert. Good stuff decent price, lines long but it's new so to be expected. Go at off hours to catch no line.

Honest, not calling me back after our first visit. We didn't get a grinder or sub. Only frozen treat and fries. The strawberry was ½ full of frozen strawberries so big I couldn't even use the spoon. Wasted drink. Lemon was good. Fries were not bad at all. Just not providing that, I gonna have more. We will try the subs and follow up
At this point, Eegees here is not giving out the vibe to make me want to return

An Eegee is the frozen drink. It’s halfway between a shaved ice and a slushy. Barely drinkable with a straw. I got the strawberry. It was tasty but strong flavor. Too strong for my palette, though I can imagine that many like it.

I also got the hot pastrami sandwich. It was good, not amazing. Fries were good, not amazing, a good match. I’ll go back if someone else wants me to go. Probably try a grinder, their signature sandwich.
