I tagged along on my husband"s business breakfast at this sweet ,cozy restaurant in Gilbert,AZ that was chosen by a local.????
The food was great... I had a crab cake Benedict...yum...hubby had pancakes..
our waitress was very attentive & funny, too
It's an excellent restaurant. Always so clean. Attractive decor. The Wisconsin eggs are good with lots of cheese. Good oatmeal, not bland or pasty. Great coffee which is really important.
Very quaint comfortable breakfast and lunch eatery. Free coffee outside if there is a wait. Seating outside with tower heaters. Breakfast items include burritos, oatmeal, omelets, pancakes plus sausage, bacon and fruits. Lunch
includes sandwiches, soups, salads and van be allergy friendly upon request. They even sell their own hot sauce, a medium blend of jalapeno peepers. Friendly service and great food make this place worth a visit.
The Nook may make you a loyal customer like me, I highly recommend this place, enjoy!
The name changed, but it is still the same breakfast restaurant. I’ve always enjoyed having breakfast here. Omelette tastes good, the environment of the restaurant is cozy as well. I have brought several friends here for breakfast, so I would recommend people to give this place a try is they’ve never been here.
If you're looking for a non-commercial, more mom and pop, breakfast restaurant then The Nook is definitely it. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively. The waiting staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The restaurant used to be called the Egg or something (I wrote a glowing review for it under the previous name years ago). The owner was forced to change name due to naming right conflicts with a competing commercial business. My family and I enjoy this restaurant.
