Max's Sports Bar

Good food and and service. Temperature was cold. Had to keep my coat on all night. Otherwise, comfortable off-track betting area in the dining room. Will definitely come here for dinner and wagering again.

This is a great Sports Bar & Grill for friends to meet up at to watch a game and for families to enjoy good food and games. They also have Off Track Betting for horse & dogs races (if that's your thing), a game room with dart boards & video games. The servers, bartenders, cooks, busboys & managers are professional and friendly....the staff makes everyone feel welcomed and like family. The menu has plenty of options and the food is delicious as well as fairly priced (I definitely recommend getting the homemade chips). Truly a fantastic place to go all year long!!

Very colorful local crowd. I go in for a couple of hours to play the ponies when I am visiting my momma. Servers are friendly. Solid cup of coffee. I didn't eat but the food sure did look good.

Went to watch the game.
Sat at the bar and Shelby came up... No hello just what can I get you. Just dry. I told her what I wanted and she told the other bartender (male who was EXTREMELY nice and courteous.)
I sat there and watched her interact with all the men at the bar, refiling their drinks while mine was empty and she never once asked me if I wanted a refill. The guy (John) was attentive.
Shelby needs to understand that there are more than just men who go to the bar AND tip! As a former bar hostess myself, I can say that she has some learning to do.
I really wish Dominique was there at the bar because it is only because of her and her all inclusive customer service that I've continued to go back because my 1st experience was pretty much the same as mentioned above.
Both Shelby and one other female need to get it together. WE have enough on us women to mistreat one another.
