Macayo's Mexican Table

Food was good but could be a little more fresher. I have the nachos and they were good except the center to the bottom of the dish was very greasy. Could have used a few more fresh tomatoes on top. It looked like it might have been under the broiler just a bit too long.

The food and service was good. But it is a big turn off to go in the restroom and smell backed up sewer. Macayo's needs to get their sewer pumped out as often as it takes to insure there is not that icky smell. It was in both bathrooms. My husband said it stunk in the Men's restroom too. It is worrisome, makes me wonder if the rest of the restaurant is clean!

I probably would have given them 4 stars but I feel the prices here are not justified by the quality of the food. They are charging gourmet food prices for Mexican food that is just okay. That's part of the reason you for out for Mexican is because it's supposed to be cheap! The food is not bad, it's just not stellar.

Still great food. We snacked on a cheese crisp, tostada and rice, and chip and dip. They tasted delicious. The atmosphere was nice too. We were there around 3:00 and it looked like there were more staff than customers, but I'm sure they got busy at dinnertime.

Had a great dinner, great service even tho our waiter (Keenan) is new. He was very nice and attentive. He even accommodated us when a couple family members showed up unexpectedly and we needed a bigger table.
Overall, a great meal and experience. This would be 5 stars, except I ordered a vodka collins and received a vodka and soda. So maybe their bartender could look it up if they're not familiar with classic cocktail.
