Saffron

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting of flavors that was prepared for us. I had the spicy vindaloo with lamb. I asked for medium hot and it was still kind of light so I asked for some extra chili powder and it just turned out right. The owner's wife came and visit our table she was very pleasant and she described the dishes to us and took our order. She happen to remember my sister and brother-in-law from 3 years ago. Very pleasant how she was up selling some of the food it wasn't annoying it was very family oriented approach. If I serve food that good id be up selling it as well. The only thing I think they can improve on is when they charge you for a vegetables the only give you a very little. As far as the reviews concerned that shouldn't stop anyone from tasting these delicious offerings.

At first, the price seems reasonable. Price begins at $10 for just the gravy. Add $3 for a protein, then no rice or naan unless you pay at least $2 more. You are now looking at $15 or more for a meal that is average at best in taste and not enormous in size to warrant that price. Service was good, presentation was nice, but likely would not return unless they consider lowering cost to customers.

The chicken Tikka is amazing!! It is a wonderful small business with extremely friendly employees. One of our favorite Indian restaurants ever!

We love Saffron! It's amazing food and the staff is so nice. If you like coffee their Indian coffee is one of the best coffees we've ever had anywhere. Definitely have to check them out if your in the area.

Been to many Indian restaurants in America and the UK. Saffron ranks among the highest if not THE BEST! The flavor and spices were perfect and was very fresh tasting. If you are looking for a great Indian meal in the Phoenix area Saffron is a must. It will be your go-to.
