Matt's Big Breakfast

It's a decent place but not worth the hype or the price they charge. It's great that they prioritize local and quality ingredients but their menu is uninspired and the execution of the meals is nothing to write home about - It's all very basic. You're better off heading to a farmer's market (or even grocery store) and picking up the ingredeients to make breakfast at home.

Great food. Sausage pattys were just the right amount of spicy and the blueberry griddle cakes were really good. Couldn’t finish my breakfast so gave the remainder to my friend to take home. She had the breakfast sandwich with hash browns and couldn’t finish hers either. She said the potatoes were really good but too much bread; couldn’t taste that fabulous bacon until she pulled it out of the sandwich. Maybe an “open-faced” sandwich next time? As I said; great food!

Wife and I went for our first time on a Saturday at 9 am. A 20 minutes wait and we were seated. A small room packed with tables and a small west facing patio. Our main server Veronica greeted us immediately and took our drink orders. A young man took our orders from a small menu and a 3rd person helped to keep an eye on our drinks! Wife had a short stack of pancakes with a dollop of real butter and heated 100% maple syrup. I had the hog and chick. Eggs, bacon and potatoes. My sourdough bread was thick with some strawberry preserves on the side. Everything was excellent. The service and food! For under $30. A little loud, but not bad. Try it!! We will again

I've been to the original location in Phoenix, the upgraded location in Phoenix, the airport location and now the Arrowhead location.

Each location had its different characteristics, but the one thing I've found consistent is the food. We ordered the waffle and chicken sandwich and they both were very good, per usual.

This location has outside seating and the servers were attentive and the food came out fast.

I am glad we don't have to drive downtown if we are craving this food!
