Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

This isn't your run-of-the-mill BBQ chain, let's get that out of the way. When you walk in, you get a down-home feeling of a Country hangout where the portions come in a "You're not leaving hungry" size, and quality. They have a wide selection of meats, beverages (who else carries Big Red in a fountain drink form?), cold beer and a good sized variety of them, and of course, desserts. Good prices for the portion, too!

This restaurant has some of the best barbecue in AZ. If this is your first time, they offer you samples so you get exactly what you want. The sides that are offered are a perfect complement to the meat. I took mine to go, but they have benched seating of you want to eat in. It is casual dining at its best.

This place is great! It's kind of like fast food style the way you walk up and order but the layout of the dining area is very southern style picnic. You pick your own table and they have the sauces and paper towels there for you. There's a little store at the entrance where you can buy some sauces and dessert. The food is delicious and the vibe is great. I'll recommend to everyone of all ages. I'll be back!

It was my first time there and the process of how to order was a little overwhelming with a line behind you and not understanding how they do things. I did love that we could try everything before purchasing. The brisket was really good. My daughter had the pulled pork and enjoyed it. The potato salad was pretty good too. Just wish they had mac n cheese or some other sides. For the amount of food I thought it was it a good deal.

Loved this place! The way you order and receive your food is a bit unconventional but they make it easy. They also offer free samples of their sides on your first visit. The beer is cheap and the food is quite reasonable as well. I enjoyed the smoked potato with brisket.... I had half to take home for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back very soon. Brisket was perfect by the way.
