Sat down for a meal at this place around 4pm. Only ones dining which made me wonder. A few people at bar. Bartender was our waiter, double duty apparently.. the menus provided were printed on black & white paper, yet a sandwich, pastrami was $22, ouch! Ordered the meatballs (4) for $14, ouch! Atmosphere was non eventful, somewhat contemporary, lacking a theme in my opine. Waited about 20 minutes for a sandwich and meatballs, not acceptable, not like we ordered pizza. Pastrami sandwich was marginal at best, lacking in meat content and even fillers. Taste was okay, but not at a $22 level. Fries were fresh and standard. Meatballs were a bit bland for the cost. Ratings are low compared to the mother store in Scottsdale. Kind of a GenX vibe to me but seeking an identity.. I can’t recommend this place. Maybe in time this place will improve but for now a no go.

Considering this is a new place and trying to get its bearings, I am pleasantly surprised. I sat at the bar and the bartenders, Jacob and Hector, took very good care of me. I had the Bourbon Smash and the Smoke Show and both were made traditionally and quite well. I only had chips and dip but the chips were house made and very crispy and a good salt factor to my drinks. This may be my new bar to visit for quality drinks.

Excellent atmosphere and vibe, elegant and classy, yet unpretentious and chill. Menu is unique and creative, but not at all bougie. Drink menu is excellent and the price points are fair. I recommend the deep fried olives..WOW! I look forward to our next visit.
