Amados Mexican Food

The food is great and authentic here. The drive thru is probably the worst I have ever seen. It's difficult to get through no matter what car you have. The staff is usually very nice here. Wish they would care for the building more and how the flow of cars can get through the drive through.

I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice. They were much better than Filibertos. They used actual block shredded cheese whereas Filibertos uses packaged shredded cheese. There's not only a texture difference between the two but, block shredded cheese *melts* in the enchilada whereas packaged shredded cheese *doesn't*! Very gross when eating it that way. ???? Also, the wait time in the drive thru is a lot shorter and I think their prices are pretty reasonable.

They are located next to Walgreens, on the NE side of Alma School & Guadalupe. I think they are open 24 hrs too. So before you think of ordering from Filibertos, try this place first. I think they are much better. Everybody has their own opinion, but try it and see what you think.

Good food ,friendly people.. clean, can eat in ,take out,and drive through. They have been there for years so shows they have a loyal local customer following.

Service was good, but the food was not all that much. If you want your belly full for a budget, this is a good place. I ate the fish tacos combo for $8. The corn tortillas were horrible and the fish was tasteless. The beans tasted like they are canned. By the way, this is coming from someone who was raised on homemade Mexican food.

This not your taco bell copy cat. It's good old fashion Mexican food. No designer decorations just Good food at a reasonable price.
