Izzy's Bakery & Cafe

Wasn't too bad. Didn't like the cream in the coconut buns (it tasted like it had gone sour), the baked coconut buns were the best. Didn't like the green tea cake slice because of the red bean paste filling. I would suggest adding a green tea and cinnamon crunch filling instead. The raspberry sponge cake was really good and almond biscotti cookies were not good at all. 4 stars for service and cleanliness and some good rolls.

Izzy's is by far my favorite Cafe! Such a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff is always welcoming & warm. They have a large variety of different sweet and savory baked breads & cakes! My personal favorite is the Hokkaido cream cheese tart. The boba tea is wonderful, and I love that there's an option for less sugar as well! I definitely recommend you visit!

So, I have mixed emotions regarding this place. The food and pastries are authentic and delicious. All of the pastries are made fresh daily on premises. The Taiwanese dishes are excellent, particularly the beef noodle soup. The portions are ample. My only beef is with the service. Sometimes it is fast and friendly, other days it is slow. Today it took 15 minutes in an empty restaurant to get a cup of coffee. If I hadn't paid already I would have left. Also, despite it being morning they had no brewed coffee available. I had to pay double the price for an Americano instead, and make do with powdered creamer. Overall a great snack, lunch, and dinner choice, but for breakfast or brunch steer clear. It is not staffed appropriately for these times.

Food is extremely good, it came out hot and fresh. We started with Pot Stickers, they had great flavor with perfect combination of soft on one side and toasty on the other. Orange chicken was excellent and General Tso chicken was good but not as good as Orange. Very busy during lunch, staff kept up and did a great job. Bakery is full of delicious looking cakes and pastries, half the customers coming in were for the bakery. Big selection of teas and drinks. This is now one of my favorite places

Loved the hot dog bun! The Vietnamese iced coffee was really good. The gold rush was super sweet with no option to adjust sweetness level. The fruit green tea wasn’t bad. Customer Service was good.
