By The Bucket Mesa

Stopped on my way home from work to get dinner, so glad I did, delicious spaghetti. I got the bambino bucket with one meatball. It is enough for 2 meals for me. I recommend to all. Next time I am going to try a dessert.

By The Bucket in Mesa off of Lindsey quickly became one of my favorite places to eat of all time. All my co-workers told me what a great experience it was so I tried it and became a regular.

This is family owned small business that are always super polite, friendly, and courteous. Gary, the owner, is a complete gentleman and runs the business well. His daughters work there, also super friendly, as well as Brandon, a truly nice guy. They also help out local schools with fundraisers which is great.

It's time to talk about the food, the real reason of this review. Absolutely delicious and second to none. Spaghetti cooked to perfection with an exceptional marinara sauce that surpasses Olive Garden and Buca Di Beppo. It's super affordable compared to those places as well. A mere $10 will get you a large helping of spaghetti, garlic bread, and a delicious meatball, all of which fill you up.

Speaking of meatballs, they have a fantastic meatball sub sandwich. However, they have a secret menu item. Ask for your meatball sub "Minnesota" style. The concept came from a Minnesota guy, which I respect being formally from Minnesota. This style of sub has meatballs, marinara, then spaghetti noodles on top, then melted cheese on top. Talk about filling and purely amazing.

They also have fantastic Italian sausage and totally sweet desserts that are the perfect complement to any meal. The Tiramasu is top notch.

Buy The Bucket gets the highest recommendation I can give out of any review I have ever written. This place is superb. Check out my plctures of my food experiences there and check the place out. You'll be satisfied.

The pasta was surprisingly not overcooked and I thought the sauce was pretty good. The meatballs were not for me, they were very salty. The garlic bread was not very toasty, there was a ton of butter on it but had a nice garlic flavor. Still chewy but a few minutes in the toaster oven cured thay right up. All in all its not bad, but I probably wouldn't be back for the spaghetti because the meatballs were way too salty. However, the desserts are another story. Well, I only tried the pumpkin pie bread pudding so far but it was phenomenal! I mean ridiculously good. It likely removed years of my life, possibly decades as I could feel my arteries clogging with every bite, but I'm here for a good time not a long time so I finished it without hesitation and only slight remorse. I will be back to try the tiramisu and whatever other lovely confections come up on the menu.

Very nice for a quick family meal! Spaghetti and meatballs were yummy, good amount of sauce. We ordered the family bucket with the 1/2 loaf of garlic bread and added 3 meatballs. Love to have this option near me when I don’t want to cook!

We had this takeout spaghetti for dinner tonight and it was really good! I loved the marinara sauce! The meatballs were fantastic too and 2 were enough to fill me. We also splurged and tried the cheesecake and, oh man, it's probably something we'll pop in for just for dessert. Highly recommend By the Bucket! We'll definitely be back.
