La Patrona Mexican Cuisine

My review of LA patrona. Located right off of Main Street on the North side right across from Gunnels tire & oil change. This authentic Mexican restaurant is truly authentic. When you walk in you will hear Mexican music playing. Our hostess spoke very little English, she herself was from Mexico. The feel of the place was amazing. There's a band and a stage where they have live mariachi on Saturdays10pm-3am and dancing and music on Friday nights. We were seated in an area where there were dining Room tables and cushioned chairs. It was a wonderful home feeling. Each table was unique, each chair set was different, with flowers on the tables it had a very romantic feel. This restaurant is perfect for a Valentine's Day celebration. The bathrooms were amazing the sinks are so unique you will you will love coming to this restaurant. One thing I loved about this restaurant is the beautiful wall decore and I loved their service and attention to detail.

The classic salsa and chips that they serve well they are making your meal was also unique the soul so was very pale but very tasty I have never tasted anything so good it was sweet and salty at the same time we couldn't quite tell what they had and the salsa but it was really really good.

I ordered the shrimp enchilada and I was happily surprised that the enchilada not only had shrimp but also bell pepper and calamari, (octopus)I thought it was wonderful. The menu had lots of unique items. The only thing I was disappointed about the menu is they did not have chili reanos but they had a huge variety of enchiladas and burritos and tacos along with sample platters, soup and appetizers.

If you are looking for a very unique restaurant to visit when in the Phoenix Valley I highly recommend this restaurant Las Patronas in Mesa.

If you cannot come to this restaurant, they do have Door Dash, so you can have someone bring authentic Mexican food from LA patrona directly to you.

Only a few others dining, fairly empty. Quantity of food was substantial. Food not seasoned, very bland. Group of 4, two meals were lukewarm, two were hot. Service great, restaurant clean and easy to get to

The food was out-of-this-world. Best Mexican food I've ever. But of course I'm from up North so what do I know. But it tasted really good especially the cilantro sauce. I also very much appreciated that the silverware was clean. I mean bright shiny clean.

It's a great place to host an event, such as an expo, meetings or large gatherings. Food is good. Price's vary. There's live music entertainment on Friday's including karaoke. A family oriented place. A must try place.

Went for an event, had dinner and loved it. The food is good and plentiful. Prices are decent. While there, they had a salsa dance lesson and later a Mariachi band. Not a place for a quiet dinner, but a place for good Mexican food. We will be going back.
