Rito's Mexican Food

Outstanding Red Chile Tostado- lots of beef on it. The cheese enchiladas was good, but very pepper hot. Ground beef taco with mashed potatoes was interesting, very crunching- didn't taste or see the mashed potatos. Wait staff was friendly and frequently checked back with us. We sat in rhe booth which was very comfortable, private and made conversation very easy to hear. The chairs looked uncomfortable. Budget friendly dining with lots of free shopping center parking.

Love the fact there's one in Mesa now. The HH specials are great. The tacos amazing as always and nice to be able to sit and eat vs taking it to go. I'll be back often. The marga-rito is so good too.

When we got here we weren't sure where the entrance was. It was a little confusing, but when we walked in to the first door we saw, we found out it was the back entrance. So just as a fyi the entrance is on the Northside of the building. Other than that it was pretty busy as we showed up during lunch. But the service was great and the margaritas were so delicious.
I had the 3 way which is red chile, green chile and beans. The red chile was spicy so beware if you can't handle spicy food. My bf had the shredded beef taco and rice and beans. He liked everything. The beans and rice is enough to share. Overall we had a great time and will be visiting again.

Amazing new location in the old Matta's. Food was good and tastes just like the other locations. It's a great addition to the east valley mexican food options. The staff was awesome and so nice.
Just note, if you order the cheese Enchiladas, they have onions, unless you tell them not to. I learned that today. Lol.

This is a must try if you haven't. The location is a takeover of an old family restaurant that was a favorite of mine since the 80s, and Rito's is now a new favorite. The remodel is simple but extremely effective. The food is phenomenal, and the Margaritas will have you wanting to try new flavors. I'd recommend a flight.
