I was really excited to try Bundoo Khan, especially since it was my favorite BBQ place in Karachi while growing up. I got Bihari kebabs that were tender but didn’t have the smoky charcoal flavor like the original. Since they grill inside, I am sure they’re using a gas grill otherwise the fire alarms are going to buzz.
Food portions are really small for the price. I was expecting a paratha twice its size but these “parathas” are essentially puris. I’m sure Lotus is charging them a hefty rent and to recover their costs, they’re passing on the high price to customers. I would have bought food thrice the amount from a local halal Mediterranean restaurant down the street for $20.
The servers and the guys at the checkout were super sweet. I hope that once their small business gets kickin’, they reduce their prices a bit or increase the portion size unless inflation keeps kicking their butt like everyone else’s. Sigh. I honestly wish them well on their small business.
Excellent food and personalized service. The food was at par with the Bundoo Khans in Lahore and Karachi.
We had the couple's platter; will definitely go back to try their breakfast and biryani.
Hands down the best South Asian restaurant I have been to in Arizona! Every item that I ordered was delicious and the food came out very quickly. A family owned business with very friendly owners, do not hesitate to try it!
We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Food is stunning, both the kebabs, roll and halwa. Lamb chops wow, biryani great and lovely selection of drinks. Love this place and will continue to visit.
So far tried their gola Kabab, Bihari, cholay, aloo subzi, chicken 65, chicken tikka masala, paratha and falooda!
Everything was super yummy! Being from Karachi I can vouch this is the first restaurant that has authentic gola and Bihari taste!
Keep an open mind and you will not be disappointed! Will be going back very soon for tikkas :)
