Tokyo Joe's - Val Vista

This place is AMAZING! The food is really good, menu is fairly diverse and easy to navigate, plus everything is CLEARLY labeled as Gluten Free or Vegan. Very good quality food, they don’t skimp on any sauces or anything. Can’t emphasis how great the labeling is. Will definitely be returning! Some of the best food in town.

I picked up an Uber We Eats order for a customer. The experience was great. They immediately acknowledged me when I entered, she told me the order should be right up.

As I sat there and watch I saw their entering customers being greeted immediately with the same smiling faces.

The place was nice and clean and I loved the work hard, be kind, stay humble reminder right up front.

The carry out order I received was packed well which I appreciate. It makes my job easier.

Good food and quick service. Could offer more options for sushi but understandable that you want to quickly serve a variety of food which is easy to assemble. I’ve come here often and haven’t been disappointed.

Sushi is excellent and the rice bowls are delicious! The steak can be a little well done but that's how I like it. Overall it is a nice filling change of pace from some of the sickly sweet Asian resturants around me. People are nice and the food is relatively quick. Try the poke roll with salmon instead of tuna and you'll be in love. Worth every penny.

I love this place, far too much for my own good! Tokyo Joe's is to Panda Express what Baja Fresh is to Taco Bell.

Okay, that analogy doesn't quite hold up, Panda is more on the Chinese food side and Tokyo Joe's is more on the Japanese side, especially with the sushi, but hear me out. Great, healthy food at reasonable prices, and relatively large portion sizes. They've got great teas, plenty of choices (especially with the create your own bowl option), and fantastic service to top it all off!

The place is always clean and despite being closer to fast food than a restaurant, the atmosphere is on the classier side. I frequently see businessmen and women having lunch and occasionally meetings here. Service is quick, in fact I tend to spend more time in line than I do waiting for my food, though I do go more often at the off-times.

I cannot comment on the sushi as it isn't my thing, but from what friends have said when I take them there, it's definitely good, better than most, but not the best in the valley. And it's a little on the expensive side, but still worth it for the quality. This is only from a handful of people so take it with a grain of salt.
