Wild Horse West

Stopped at this place during a ride. The staff was friendly and the food was alright. The hamburger was pretty basic. Nothing special just your typical bar in the middle of the desert.

What a quaint place close to Lake Pleasant. Great hamburger! Cold beer! Got a seat immediately even though it looked crowded in the parking lot. Service was excellent!

Surprise fun find returning from Lake Pleasant. Have driven by this place often, the building does not have a sign. The only sign is a small sign along the roadside. The atmosphere is definitely casual with an old west vibe. Glad we stopped this time. This seems to be a local hangout with people greeting each other as they came in. Serves burgers, sandwiches, soup, chili and salads. At the next table, chili was served. Looked and smelled really good, but we had already ordered. Our server, Brigette, was helpful and nice. She said it would take about fifteen minutes because so many came in at once. Enjoyed a crisp salad as we waited. In less than 15 minutes we were served our burgers. Burgers were excellent, juicy, sizzling hot and done just right. They are cash only. Yum!

After a few hours of cruising around on Lake Pleasant getting your daily dose of rays, it's time for one of the best burgers in Arizona. Carefree highway and Lake Pleasant on the southeast corner is Wild Horse West. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a burger. Amazing. Just remember, this place is cash only. Enjoy. ????????

This place is awesome...The burgers are what they are known for...They are just that damn good and homemade!!! It's off a main road in the middle of nowhere, but the views outside this spot are what make this place picturesque...

The staff that works there are awesome...They remember us every year we make our way back...In addition, this place gets busy and they only accept cash...

The burgers come with chips (no fries here) and for under $10 bucks...I'll be back...
