JD Campbell's Mercantile Cafe

Nice place. Great service. My omelette was delicious. Good bloody mary. Dedicated covered motorcycle parking which looks to be part of an old gas pump island.

This is a very nice country style restaurant located in Peoria Az. They offer great country food with great service and a awesome ambiance.

We enjoyed some amazing Bloody’s from Laura and then followed that with some chili and two great entree’s. The Buffalo burger and the beef enchiladas with pork chili on top were great!

Victoria and Laura took very good care of us and answered all our questions. We will be back soo for more as there were about 20 things on the menu that I have to try.

Absolutely amazing food and service! The breakfasts portions are huge and tasty! Can't wait to come back!

I've been going to Campbell's since it was a gas station and two tables inside. It's my favorite place for fish and chips. Yum

Food was really good,service not so much. This was our first time going to Campbell Cafe. We drive past it all the time & decided to try it after reading the few reviews that are posted. Let's start with the good. the French Toast is great, as was my wife's Breakfast Burrito. The prices are about on par with other restaurants serving the same food.
Now for the bad, let me say first that I realize that Campbells is not a chain restaurant, where the waitress/waiter is required to come by every so often. Our problem started as soon as I walked in the door. The hostess (who was maybe 19) didn't so much as say "hello" nothing, she didn't even crack a smile. Only thing that she said was "how many" when I asked for a booth, & how long the wait would be she seem annoyed. We get seated in under 10 minutes (Ok) no silverware, napkins, but the table was clean. Waitress came by we ordered coffee, I told her 3 times before she left that we needed creamer, comes back with coffee no creamer (still no silverware). Brings the creamer back with one spoon. We ordered back with our order in a reasonable amount of time. Still no silverware & when I asked for some she just turned & left. 5 minutes later the hostess came back with silverware & napkins, in the meantime my breakfast is getting cold. She just plops it down & walks away. We didn't see the waitress again until it was time to leave the bill. Whatever happened to coming by & checking our coffee? My wife no sooner put her credit card in the holder than the waitress was right there (warp 9). We won't be going back again, you can get the same food with much better service elsewhere.
