Dickey's Barbecue Pit

The staff was absolutely great but the food was so so. Mac and cheese was cold but good ???? No mashed potato casserole, green beans were good. Ribs were dry, brisket was GREASY af and the chicken was good. Got the $65 family pack..... I mean it was edible but probably not worth getting again. Oh and the rolls were hard as if they were microwaved to heat to give to us. Went at like 7:30pm.

While we eat here often, tonight's meal was outstanding. As I have not hesitated to let it be known when things were not as good as they should have been, I just wanted to say the same when every thing was great. Thank you for a great dinner, again!

I have to say, this is probably the best tasting barbecue place to eat at . I had a brisket BBQ sandwich and a side Caesar salad. I usually eat brisket sliced, but this time I decided to have it chopped up. Mom and I were the first ones there when it opened, so it really nice and we just sat at ate and visited with each other while eating the most delicious barbecue. Of course we had to have our ice cream cones after the meal, that's another one of my favorites.

I love BBQ, especially Texas BBQ, this place not so much. Ribs were ok, brisket was really dry probably over cooked. The corn bread was very good. The BBQ sauce was pretty good, three types. The ice tea tasted sour. The price was high and definitely not worth it.
