Haymaker Thunderbird

Today was my first visit to Haymaker. I am new to town and this location is not far from my house. When I walked in there was bar area seating only so I sat at the bar. The bartender (Nick) greeted me and let me know he would be right with me. There were about 10 people already there. I got my beer and menu and watched. In the next 20 minutes at least 15 more people came in. Nick got extremely busy but didn't miss a beat. He was able to serve everyone without help, kept his cool and still delivered great service. I was amazed! I have managed bars for over 10 years and a guy that can run the show by himself while giving great service is a huge win for Haymaker! The Haymaker Benedict was really good! Great food and Great Service!

First time here and won't be our last. Burgers are delicious, pulled pork was delicious, ribs were fall off the bone delicious and the barbecue sauce was......yummy!!!! Highly recommend coming here and if you can ask for Nick the bartender. Super great service!!!!

Great food, hearty portions. Peach tea is legit and not too sweet. The Haymaker Benedict is hearty and easily shared or two meals. Avocado toast was good, but disappointing that it was only one slice instead of two. EVOO was a nice touch to make it unique compared to the traditional salt and lemon. We felt the service was a tad slow, but always friendly. Definitely worth trying if you're unsure!

The atmosphere is very fun. Warm like a cabin. The service is wonderful, very friendly, quick responsiveness. Prices are very reasonable for meals. My senior brother and I had breakfast. He had a California omelet that he said was good but on the small side. I had chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak and gravy was delicious and moderately sized but enough. However had country potatoes that were barely warm, not freshly made. Had a huge pancake that was hot and good. 4 stars because food just not that impressive. Just fair. Would try a different meal another time to decide if would totally recommend.

Great environment & atmosphere, delicious food, attentive waiter/waitress service but my food is always cold. We have been here a handful of times and yummy food but ALWAYS comes out cold.... especially the potatoes/mashed potatoes...... I will change my review to 5 stars when my food starts to come out HOT ♨️ nobody likes cold potatoes...... Haymaker Benedict pictured below. Super flavorful!
