Dickeys Barbecue Pit

I have been eating at Dicke's for over 20 years. Order at the counter and they bring your food to to you. After you have paid for your order, you have just enough time to get your drinks, sauces, cutlery, etc. and sit down then your food arrives. Very good bbq for the price. I have never had a bad experience at Dickies.

Meat plate are served with two sides. If you like green beans, I highly suggest getting them as one of your sides. The manager offered me a sample before I got them. He told me people either really like them or they dont. So if you are interested, tell them Daryl said to sample the green beans.

Good BBQ for a chain, but there's so much better spots in Arizona. It's good if you don't find anything else, and looking for a quick bite.

The staff was helpful, but many of the meats and sides just don’t hit the spot.

Pro: Ribs are great. Macaroni and Cheese is quite nice, mashed potatoes is ok. Pecan pie is very good.

Con: Brisket is very dry. Japapeno beans are not good, creamed spinach is similar.

While eating our food, I saw a number of online orders come to pick food up. Most were refused for some reason. I don’t see the business surviving long with turning away so much business.
