Greatest place in Phoenix with the best people! Little Mogadishu is a treasure in this city! And the food is so tasty!!!!

The food here is amazing, I'm working my way through the menu, everything I tried so far is delicious and the service is great. I had my daughter with me and I had a big order, they took time out to help us the the car.

Awesome Somalian food. Had the oven-roasted goat (Halibi). Perfectly done and not over-seasoned at all. The rice will also make a non-rice eater eat rice. Dining companion had the lamb shank, which I sampled and was great. Man, they have the food dialed in here. Best part was being given the banana at the beginning. I was thinking "early dessert"? No, you cut the banana up and put it in your rice, which makes it even more awesome. Also had the sambusas that were off the charts. Love this place that's just over the hill from tony Scottsdale.

It's always good that you can go to these mom and pop restaurants and they deliver the best service and great food. I love the food at Waamo and the prices are affordable as well. Good job, great people.
