This place was wonderful. I brought my family to AZ for the Waste Management open, Go Rickie Fowler! and were looking for a good Italian Restaurant after a fun day at Castles and Coasters with the kids. We found Anzio's and were extremely pleased once we walked in, were greeted right away and had excellent service and recommendations from our server. The food was great, the beer was cold, and we walked out very pleased. Highly recommended from a California native.
Tried Anzio's for dinner on a Thursday night. The place was very clean and not too busy. Very helpful and friendly staff. The pizza was average, looked and tasted like microwave pizza. The spaghetti and meatballs, however, was awesome, as was the cheese bread. The service was very good. Lots of choices on the menu for food and drinks. About $38 for two dinners, drinks and an appetizer. Would return as it was a good overall experience.
I would photo for This place to be elected best pizza in Phoenix just for the flavor alone. I am from Chicago and this is the best pizza I found anywhere here that comes close to the pizza there. The food is healthy and delicious and not overdone with heavy salt or oils. Strong flavors.
Been coming here for years. The wings and pizza are great. The antipasto salad tastes so fresh and cold (but right temp) every time. Beer served in a frosty mug last time I was there. Wish I still worked on that side of town to get there more often. Just consistently great food for years with really friendly and competent wait staff. Never had a bad or even so-so experience.
