Julio's Too

Being from San Francisco, we love to eat Mexican food in Arizona. Sonoran-style is not on the menus of most California Mexican eateries. Julio's does it right in the traditional way. By the way, their old-school "Cheese Crisp" is a fabulous beginning. From there, it's solid choices and tasty results.

Julio's Too has good food, but they often get the orders wrong or make mistakes when there is a modification or special request. This is a counter service restaurant connected to Julio's (table service) Restaurant. The kitchen is actually separate as is the staff. The food comes packaged in to-go packaging, but there are a few tables if you want a more casual scene and therefore don't want to walk into the adjoining restaurant. On the plus side, the staff is usually friendly and will happily correct any inaccuracies with an order They offer self-service chips, provide salsa and/or hot sauce, and get-your-own drink refills... so you are not waiting on, or loading down, a server while you wait to wash down some hot-sauce.
