The owner and family are the nicest people. Food is great. A small cozy place with a few tables . A few people can share a big dish in the middle. We ordered the vegetarian and meat sampler in addition to lamb. Plenty.

Tiny, family run place. 6 tables and some seats outside. Food is amazing, people are truly warm and inviting. Parking is behind in an open lot, but we were there at night and it felt safe and easy. Give them a try!

Food was marvelous! Owner is welcoming and glad to tell about the food. That's especially good for first-timers. A bit of a wait for the food because it's being made to order. If you're looking for atmosphere you won't find it, but if you're looking for great food, it's the jackpot.

I finally ate here, and the food does not disappoint! Everything was delicious, by far the best Ethiopian in Phoenix! The servings are generous, flavors authentic, and the couple that owns this establishment puts much thought and love into their food. Hands down the best spot! Also, I would have added a photo, but we cleaned the entire platter - good sign, I suppose :)

I bought injera here (5 in a pack) and got the chance to chat with the owner. It’s a family owned spot, he and his wife run it and it’s cozy.

Unfortunately, I didn’t eat here, but I asked some ladies who were eating how the food was and they said it was amazing - it looked and smelled amazing too from where I was standing. The servings were also generous. I’ve been to four other Ethiopian places in Phoenix and the surrounding area, and this place definitely looks like it knows what it’s doing as far as cooking goes.
I’m definitely going to come back and try a few dishes here.
I would add that being patient is important since they’re running both front and back of house, but once you chat with the owner and see the care they have in their food it’s definitely worth going to.

Small yet authentic. Delicious. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it. They were remodeling kitchen so the menu was limited, but we were able to order some of our favorites. I can’t get over how much flavor the dishes had. So excited to go back and make it our spot.
