Our new favorite sushi place. We moved from more Central Phoenix to this neighborhood in North Phoenix and needed a new sushi place. Give this place a try! Staff are very friendly and the sushi is delicious. Pretty good sized rolls too for the price, not like some places that give you little skinny rolls and charge you $15 a plate.
Amazing sushi! The curry and rice was to die for. The service was superb from start to finish. I love that it's a little spot tucked away. Will definitely be back soon!
I have been eating sushi since I was a kid. I'm 50 and grew up on the coast near San Francisco. I live love and know good sushi. My experience here was not good. The service was mediocre at best. Only one person acting as sushi chef. Seemed like he had to ask how to prepare each item we ordered. The fish appeared to old. It was smelly and firm when eating it. For the price we paid it wasn't worth it. They do have Conveiniently located wheelchair accessible parking. It's easy to find from the road. When eating sushi there's a realm of trust in quality of the food I must have between the establishment. I don't have that here. Maybe if they had more business with a higher turn over of the fish or paid for better grade.I wish them the best of luck. Or
Excellent sushi and Japanese food! I ate here tonight with my pregnant wife who was craving California roll. I was skeptical because of the neighborhood (and because fresh fish is an anomaly in the desert), but boy was I surprised. This small shop is family run, and the owner, a Japanese sushi chef, was very amicable and made some fun small talk at the sushi bar.
We ordered the Hana roll, blue flame, California roll, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, and miso soup, and it was all delicious. Definitely coming back!
My family and I really enjoyed Hana Sushi. The first thing I noticed was the menu, it was very linear in it's organization and easy to navigate. The staff was great too, they are kind and thoughtful, I felt like a family member visiting after a long trip. I am glad the sushi is as good as the rest of my experience, fresh cuts, good portions, and great presentation. Overall I give Hana Sushi 5 stars I highly recommend it.
