We went for lunch. Reuben was a bit dry but still delicious! Bangers and mash were great. Christina was awesome and service was too. Will definitely be back!
I would love to say this was a great place to visit as an out of towner, especially on st pats day. And it was, all the way up to the time I was not so kindly escorted out for reasons i did not comprehend. I was happy to leave, justified or not, but all I asked of the bouncer escorting me out was what the justification was, and he was not open to any discussion.
The apparent predicating moment, granted, was when a woman approached me telling me to stay away from her daughter. And, I would have been happy to comply, had I known or even given the opportunity to be educated upon, who exactly it was that was her daughter.
And even being deprived of such opportunity, I was perfectly content to leave undisputed, all the while, the bouncer harassing me up to a block away until it was clear to him that I had established for myself walking directions back to my hotel.
Honestly, I don't know what I did wrong or what complaints were lodged against me. I would have welcomed hearing them, and that's all I was asking for, but did not receive. That being said, my initial visit was welcoming. Bartenders were overly accommodating. The locals that I spoke with were very friendly, which honestly is all that I was seeking.
Lovely pub. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Had a garden salad that was VERY well made and fresh. 4 stars only for limited vegan options... very tasty looking Irish pub fare otherwise.
????❇️AMAZING...the absolute BEST wings I've ever eaten in my lifetime and I've been searching out and trying places lately and nothing beat this Cajun place I used to go to almost 20 yrs ago . They are battered and fried to a crispy almost crunchy tasty perfection the meat itself was so tender and juicy I had to order a second batch. Heidi, the chef and owner came out to our table to chat and introduce herself. She makes her buffalo , mustard and other sauces from scratch , also her own recipes for sauces dips n batter. I had them naked and dipped in both the buffalo and mustard sauce plus ranch or blue cheese. I wanted to try her Reuben , her corned beef topped burger, the Irish nachos, bangers n mash, plus more but we got the gigantic two fried cod or salmon fillets on a soda bun with lettuce tomato onion with tartar sauce and I dipped it in mustard sauce n buffalo. The fries were even in this beautiful flaky crispy n tasty batter !! Wow. I love this place. They are looking for live music and comedy acts too btw. I must go back for that Reuben !! Or the burger with egg n avocado on it!! More wings for sure!! Thanks Heidi! You made my number one for wings !! ❇️????
