Papa Joe's Fish-N-Que

Hands down the best fish in the city! Breaded and seasoned perfectly! The service was fantastic! I couldn't decide what type of fish I wanted to get so Papa Joe gave me 1 of each. The cod, whiting and catfish. The portions are huge and each fish was flavorful and tastey. With the combo you get shrimp and a drink for a great price! Would highly recommend!

Was sadly disappointed. Ordered the catfish with spicy hush puppies for my dad. I got 3 piece ribs, onion rings, and spicy hush puppies. My dad's fish was perfect the hush puppies were very toasted. My ribs were very tough and dry. Nervy and I couldn't eat them. The onion rings were perfect and hush puppies were a bit too toasted. Will probably not return . It was clean and quite busy.

Got the 2pc spicy catfish with fries and mac & cheese. Catfish was on point! Flaky, seasoned perfectly, the flavor of the fish was still there as well. The mac was a little soft but still wonderful, the fries were good but i do think another 20 seconds in the fryer would do them some good. Overall, I'll be back more than enough times because it was still great food and worth the wait! The crew working there made it feel like you're family from the second you step foot inside to when you leave! ❤

Food was great. Got a couple of sandwiches. Pulled pork, brisket and hot links. Meat so tender. Links had a nice kick to them. Prices are very reasonable. Will be back to try more things.

Nice neighborhood food/seafood place to to eat. Clean with a personable counter man! Food is very good. Had catfish, peach cobbler. At a decent price. Had enough to a small meal later! Will go back & recommend for anyone seeking a good seafood meal!
