Joyride Taco House | Central

Excellent restaurant. Food was great and lots of options. We tried all of the tacos and a chicken burrito.. guacamole was good and had it's own twist with corn. Chips and salsa were also above average for a typical restaurant. Finished with the curious and chocolate sauce, was not disappointed. Atmosphere was very laid back and service was prompt. We had 4 kids with us and would go back with or without them. Put this restaurant on your list.

The food was fantastic! I had the shrimp & veggie taco with the orange cucumber salad. All was fresh and delicious. Their service could really use some help, which is the only reason why they aren't getting 5 stars. I say at the bar for a few before even being spoken to. The bartender dropped of chips & salsa without even greeting me and asking for a drink order... Not horrible, but have had better service elsewhere!

Limited menu, but the tacos were pretty good. Especially the crispy fish taco. It would be nice if they could add an alcohol free horchata NOT made with almond milk or crushed pecans in the drink (something nut free). Service was quick and very friendly. They were very accommodating, and we had a very large party for my mom's birthday happy hour.

Really this review is a 5 for the food, which was excellent, and a 1 for the service. The restaurant wasn't slammed and new arrivals were seated almost right away. However, the staff didn't stop by the table very often and we waited quite a while for all stages of the process. It was mentioned that the kitchen was backed up, but no effort was made to make up for this, such as more frequent checks to see that we had everything, or comping a treat such as guacamole, chips, a beverage, or some other minor item. A bit frustrating. I will give them another try in the future. The menu is interesting, varied, and the food is yummy.
