My boyfriend and I went for the first time today 3/17, around 5pm. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. However, my reasoning for 4 stars is not towards the waitstaff, but to the management. It is inconceivable that the management had only two servers working the floor today, on a Sunday afternoon. As someone who has worked in a restaurant before, Sundays can be very, very busy. I applaud the waitstaff for their dedication to providing the best service to the customers, despite how completely swamped they were. I will definitely come back, but the management needs to schedule more people on weekends so the waitstaff is not overwhelmed.

Wasn't a bad burger, but not worth $16. Literally, spent $16 for a burger and water. No sides. Ordered the burger medium, got it well done. Had to wait longer than I should have to get the check, given how busy it was. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Absolutely wonderful in every way. The burgers were larger than expected and delicious. They have a lot of options for you to create to your version of the perfect burger. The fries and onion straws are great, and the variety of choices is great.

More importantly, the staff was phenomenal. My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and our server went out of his way to make us feel special and to let us know what things were available for us to check out while we were in town. It was the perfect way to spend our evening.

The Counter is definitely going to be a place we'll come back to every time we're in the area.

Absolutely outstanding burgers, for the price that was well worth the expense. The burgers I had ordered were larger than expected, yet grilled to perfection with a beautiful 'char-like' sear on the outside and perfect medium well inside. The was toasted just enough to give a lightly crisp texture. The vegetables, I believe, were garden fresh. The sweet potato fries were amazing (believe me, I have had more than my fair share of sweet potato fries at other burger joints, but these far surpassed all of those with regards to quality). I got my order rather quickly, considering it was during the height of the lunch rush on a Wednesday... Overall, courteous service, that was quick and respectfully polite (an oddity, when one know they're in the 3 rudest city in the country) coupled with great food. A real plus in anyone's book. I'm a trained chef and self taught grill master. That said, I highly recommend this establishment as I have a very discerning and sensitive palette and was surprisingly pleased by the meal that I had expected to be, at best, mediocre.... Well done!!!!

Got here early so I didn't have to fight the lunch crowd and grabbed a seat at the bar counter. Their full service bar has a friendly barman with whom you can share stories. There are about a dozen beers on tap.

The 200 plus seat restaurant has indoor, as well as patio tables. The patio offers misters in the summer, and heaters in the winter.

The "Build Your Own Menu" presents three animal proteins, beef, chicken and turkey, as well as, a vegan alternative. There's also a choice of buns or salad wrap and a long selection of toppings.

I designed a 1/3 lb vegan burger on a vegan brioche with lots of veggies and shoestring fries. That's the smallest on the menu and it's gigantic. To my surprise, it quickly and deliciously disappeared. The fries arrived crisp and hot.

Check with the restaurant for the current Happy Hour special. Wheelchair accessible from the patio at the rear. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Street parking.
