Carolina's Mexican Food - Cactus

This is some really really yummy authentic Mexican food. It’s so good that if you told me my Mexican grandma is rolling over in her grave cus they stole her recipes I would believe it. Don’t buy tortillas at the grocery store. Get them here. They are usually busy but the food still comes out fast.

Good food and good prices keep this place busy, especially during lunch and dinner hours. Place orders by phone or online for pickup rather than ordering and waiting there, even if you intend on dining in as you will pick up your order at the counter either way. Best tortillas I've ever had.

The food is for sure a five star, among the best of its kind in the valley. The lines when things get busy not so much and why are so many customers just plain rude to the staff? This is sort of small for Phoenix eating establishment but worth the wait. Call ahead and go right to the front - as of this review the online ordering is not yet functioning.

The food is amazing but prices are higher than most. During the warmer months you might want to get your food to go, there seems to be a lot of air-traffic (flies). The people working there are very friendly. Portions are nice. Music is great.

The beans are AMAZING. For those alone I'd come back. The enchiladas are slightly spicy and have good flavor. I also had a crispy potato taco and that was basic. However, add some salsa and order a side of sour cream and I can see those pop, you're welcome.

Loved the array of drinks available on tap, especially the orange bang!

Overall the place is good but crowded. Friendly service though and would order to go if I lived locally.

Them beans though!! Yum.
