Carolina's

Not fancy but possibly the best Mexican food in Arizona. Best burritos and homemade tortillas - you will thank me if you decide to eat here - love it !

Carolina's has been a staple in the Downtown Phoenix, AZ area for years. Food is good.. and cheap. It can get busy during the lunch hour rush but if you go around 1pm, you can be in and out rather quickly. Not the fanciest of places but you'll find people from all walks of life ordering up some classic Mexican fare... from businessmen, to construction workers, all seem to gravitate here.

I first went to Carolina's a bit more than 10 years ago it was very busy. I was ready to leave when I walked in the door. I'm glad I stayed for an awesome meal. An unassuming simple place where the best things are excellent tasty food an outstanding service. I try to go there every time in the Phoenix area. Very enjoyable one more time.

Oh this restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! Best food I've had from a Mexican restaurant here in AZ since I've been here. I've had a few, but this one definitely beats the others I've been too. It's hard to get on the phone, but I guess because they so friggen good!!! Worth the wait to keep calling back until you get them, for ordering takeout. I can't wait to eat it again. That's how good it is!!!

Authentic extra large tortillas just like my mom made. Food is humble but delicious, it is definitely a hole in the wall. Don't be afraid to walk in, there are business people, fire fighters, assorted people of all walks of life. Food is just worth it! Call your tortilla in over the phone, makes waiting much shorter!
