Pete's Fish & Chips

I love this place. My favorite while growing up and I always make it a priority to eat here when I'm back in town. I love the shrimp and chips.

I didn't find it to be anything special, but it wasn't awful either. I wasn't expecting to get rectangular fish pieces that seemed like they were from the freezer section, but they tasted fine and were still hot when we got it home. The breading on the shrimp was a bit heavy handed but again, not awful. In general, it was fine, but not worth going out of your way for.

The food was very nice, along with the service. They treated us with courtesy and respect. They didn't take long in the process of delivering us out food and for being in the location it was in...turned out to have pretty food.

Love this place! You could say, as the bumper sticker states, I am addicted. Love the Fish and Chips. Simple menu, done right. This location has the "Bob Mohan" special. I highly recommend that. If that's not enough, try the Scallops plate, not traditional to fry scallops but you will love them. Bring cash!

It's definitely a change from burgers and chicken. The fish is really good, even though it does taste a little like fish sticks. I only really like white fish, and this is a good crispy cod. You really cant beat the prices. The wait is a little long sometimes, and they charge for literally everything, but it is what it is. You do have to pay for cash, and they have an ATM there (or there is a Chase bank nearby too). Fries are hit and miss with the salt. Haven't really interacted with the staff enough to judge on service. Food is always very hot though. I'd recommend any day! I do have to say though, the fish sandwich is SO good!
