The food is really really wonderful. Consistency in both quality of food and service. Happy that this restaurant is in my neighborhood
This place is a great replacement in the neighborhood, for the French Market that was there before. All the people are so helpful and friendly and the toaster pastries and scones are amazing. We went in one day to get some of their delicious Focaccia bread, they were out, but the owner??, said to come back later and they would have some made for us. That was impressive! Going to try one of the sandwiches today!
So very grateful this delicious place has moved in. As a European with an obsession with bread, I assure you, you will not be disappointed here. Plus, & this is very rare for me...I had NO allergic reaction at all to this bread despite having gluten allergies. The baguettes are SPOT ON. Bravo & thank you so much for being my neighbourhood baker!
They put queso...on a breakfast toast. Queso, guys! Just pure brilliance. The bacon and egg were also cooked to perfection. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They were out of light roast drip coffee, so they made me a pour over instead done with absolute care. We also went all-in for the pop tart pastry, and it was divine. Flaky crust, fresh berry compote, and the perfect amount of frosting and sprinkle. Everything in there is made with love, and I hope they are here to stay. A great addition to Uptown and to Phoenix at large!
Finally, a fresh new find for downtown Phoenix! As an avid Lux Central lover Corner on the Market fits the bill. Even though it seems as if they're going through a "soft opening" phase at the moment they seem like a promising establishment. I'll be coming back here for sure! Btw, thumbs up for the iced black coffee & a slice of their green chili bread...H I G H L Y recommend that combo!
