This place has an amazing vibe and we love the decor. The service was pretty good and the food overall was good though we felt that it was very overpriced for what you get. I will say the manager was fantastic. My friend sent her dish back because she didn’t care for it and the way the manager handled it was impressive. Service gets 5-stars, food (for the value) gets 3 stars. My swordfish without any sides at all was $38, just to put it into context. We would probably come back for happy hour but not sure about dinner.
You walk into this restaurant and are greeted by friendly staff, somewhat loud music, and an inviting ambiance. The table height to seat ratio is slightly off though. You never know if you should have your arms on the table or not. Drinks are unique and for the most part delicious. We mostly ordered seafood and it was average flavors for a 5 star price. If we return, it would be for drinks but not for a full dinner. Probably the first & last time we’ll go here though.
My wife and I, we were looking for a late night dinner. We saw this place was open. It was our surprise been a really nice romantic place to eat. We decided to try some of their items they had available on the menu, I have to say it was worth it. A little bit pricey but it was worth the price. Everything looked good and what we order was so delicious.
First & Last was the perfect date night dinner! Our server, Chad, was the most ideal server we could have asked for. He answered all my silly questions, helped me pick out the perfect wine pairing for my plate and was attentive to our table. The menu rotates (which I love!!) so what you see online may not be what they have on the menu. My pasta pomodoro was absolutely delicious and my boyfriend ordered the clams which was also delicious (he says they tasted like fresh clams you can get in San Francisco). I don’t know where they get their tomato’s from but they were the best tasting tomato’s I’ve ever had. The music was on point, I don’t know the genre but some kind of 70s soul type vibe. Everything was worth the price. We can’t wait to come back and see what’s new on the menu :)
Atmosphere is laid back but cool and hip. Drinks were really good and both food and drink came out really quick. If you like Mezcal definitely get the urban sombrero. The heirloom tomato pomodoro was sooo good and pasta tasted very fresh, big Mediterranean tasting dish with olives and basil. The grilled chicken is also heavenly. Lastly our favorite thing we ordered, creme caramel, one of the best desserts I've ever had. A must try
