Gojo Restaurant

Amazing food! Usually eat in when we are in Phoenix. But yesterday was takeout. Never disappointed No other Ethiopian restaurant even compares. We have family from there, so we know how it should taste! And this is as close as it gets to my auntie's! They use real authentic Ethiopian spices for their food. They have really good portions! I've been to other restaurants where they try to tone it down for Americans. But this place serves true authentic Ethiopian food and it is wonderful! If you're not sure where to start order the veggie platter! It is full of flavor and you never knew veggies and lentils could taste so good!

This is my first time to Ethiopian restaurant Gojo left me wonderful experience with delicious tastes. They have good service and very friendly, I tried Meat and veg combo almost every dish is special on its style.
Coffee is mostly recommended.

We wanted to go from Vancouver BC to Ethiopia and were happy to settle with Arizona just because this restaurant is here too. We had such a great time with the decor and the wonderful woman at the restaurant and food. The thyme iced tea was so great too! Thanks Gojo

This was a lovely change from the norm. My husband and I have never tried Ethiopian food and this was a great way to try it out. While service might have been a bit slow it was still pleasant and very helpful with our language and cultural barrier. Food was delicious, experience was fantastic and in general it was a great hole-in the-wall to discover. Be aware, the combos are larger than you think!

This place is amazing! My husband and I wanted to try something new. We were warmly greeted and served quickly. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was outstanding. I will definitely visit this place again!
