Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

I took my grandmother here for lunch based on her suggestion. We were NOT disappointed!! Memphis based chicken is DELICIOUS!! Our server was more than helpful and SO friendly. The chicken is SO juicy and has a nice little kick!! Even the sides were yum!! They didn't have the beer I liked, but our server suggested a replacement, and she was spot on!! The owner came around for the newbies and gave a little history of the establishment. Good music, cute joint with a splash of Memphis. Definitely going back!!

Hit up Gus's...finally. So glad we did. Love the atmosphere, service was top notch. We started with sweet tea and fried green tomatoes. Then we ordered the chicken with different sides. The chicken is fried to order and so worth the wait. The chicken has a really nice kick. The mac and cheese is really creamy and the coleslaw was exactly how I like it, just a little bit sweet. Can't wait to go back.

We liked our recent visit to Gus's and the food did not disappoint. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Only waited 10 min to eat from time of order. I hope we can keep this little gem in our community so go check them out and give lots of hometown support.

My sister and I had lunch here today. We were immediately greeted by the staff members. Rachel was our server. She was so friendly, pleasant and was on top of it. She checked on us throughout our meal, making sure we had enough to drink and that food was to our liking. Even a man who I think was the manager checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. We had chicken, coleslaw and mac and cheese. The chicken pieces and sides are large. I couldn’t finish my meal even though I wanted to eat it all. Just some good old fashion comfort food and good people. Delicious.

The moment I walked in here I was greeted like family. This place is very clean and I love the Southern vibes.

The chicken was absolutely incredible. The skin was crispy and the chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly. I ordered the chess pie for dessert and it was spectacular. I’m don’t usually get dessert however I highly recommend you get dessert here. It’s definitely a must.

Overall this place has fantastic food and exceptional customer service and I will definitely be back.
