Honey Bear's BBQ

This post has been a long time coming for this gem of a restaurant right in our neighborhood as my food coma has not hit me yet. I will make this brief: From the brisket to the ribs and all in between is made with pure talent. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Have the peach cobbler for dessert when you go, it’s awesome!

I was quite surprised that Arizona actually had a real barbecue restaurant. I travel quite extensively, and throughout my travels, I frequent BBQ restaurants. I have to say that this is going to be on my list of great restaurants. The food is delicious, the service was excellent, and most all, the prices are affordable !!!

If you're ever in Phoenix, Az., stop by and give it a taste, you will be impressed !!!

Honey Bear's is great. I've eaten at all of their locations now, including the closed one in Ahwatukee. Their meat's a little different: it's a bit "moist"er than you might be expecting, however it always has great flavor. “You don't need no teeth to eat this meat!”

Try the mac & cheese if you need a side suggestion, it's great. Ribs and sausage have always been my go-to.

because I love me some country BBQ, I had a recommendation from a very good friend to visit this establishment. I ordered a ribs and chicken plate, and let me tell you, the moment I picked up a rib the meat fell right off the bone! The chicken was even more moist and tender! The BBQ sauce had a little kick to it. Overall the meal was delicious! I want to give a shout out to the proprietor of the establishment his name was Curtis! He was one cool cat! Honey Bear's BBQ has a new fan!
