We tried Le Amê on the first day open to the general public. Walking through the Global Ambassador Hotel lobby to the host desk, we marveled at the beauty of the place. We will definitely need to come back to experience the lobby bar.

The dining room is beautiful with the bustling kitchen in view. We sat at one of the semi-circular booths which held for guests quite comfortably.

Melissa, our server, explained the menu which is sort of brasserie meets steakhouse. There’s plenty of shareables to start and an emphasis on steaks along with other entrees. There are a number of splurge options like adding caviar to potato chip dip or on your twice baked potato.

We started with cocktails and all had the signature martini which is made distinctive by the use of peppercorn tincture. It is a lovely drink indeed.

We shared the roasted sweet potatoes (fantastic), pan roasted escargot (creamy and different but delicious), brussel sprouts (nice and crispy) and the shrimp cocktail (good but remarkable).

My main course was lobster frites. It’s a whole split 1 1/2 pound lobster poached, the grilled and basted in butter. It was accompanied by crispy fries. I really enjoyed it and it was quite a feast for the eyes. The others in our party did filet au poivre and they raved about the flavor and the peppercorn sauce.

For dessert we shared profiteroles, tarte tatin and crème brûlée. Our favorite dessert was the profiteroles.

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and we will certainly return to check out more if the menu. Sam Fox and his team did a great job of being pretty dialed in on the very first day of paying guests. It’s definitely a nice addition to the dining scene in this part of Phoenix.

Le Âme, located inside The Global Ambassador hotel, had a beautiful and unique French charm to it! The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable of the food & beverage menus. From presentation to taste, the King Ora Salmon dish was truly excellent. I highly recommend Le Âme for anyone looking to indulge in a delightful lunch with friends!
