Very friendly and food was bomb

I bought 2 burritos today-lengua and green chile. The green chile was a tad salty but edible, it was made with pork which was cooked properly and seem fresh. I'm not a fan of lengua so I'm leaving that up to my husband to decide. Burrito size was very good for the price. Place was clean and staff was nice, but I'll have to go back and try something else and see if it wows me and I keep going back. 3 stars for now, but maybe an update to come with more stars.

Very generous portions. Im a big guy so If I tell you I couldnt eat more, I mean it. Well, maybe I could, but only cause it was good, wouldnt be smart. Carne Asada burrito comes with guac and pico, but I like my burritos to be handheld mexican meals, so I added beans rice cheese sour cream. Only cost 10 dollars after adding so much and it was HUGE. Everything was pretty fairly priced to be honest. The rice and beans melded very well with everything, sour cream might be made there, or they at least got a really good brand.

I always start a burrito without any sauces. With that in mind, the steak was cooked well but I dont know that they necessarily season it much. No worries though, its probably because they have some really good sauces. Tried the green, the brownish/orange one, and then they got this chipotle cream I guess? All of them tasted fresh made, nice spice but not too much, quality flavor.

Really nice staff, pretty sure this is a very recent opening, you should check it out. Pretty nice inside but not like fancy sit down restaurant, reasonable amount of seating but its not a huge location. Its kinda tucked away from easy sight, might miss it if you werent looking. Just remember its across the street from the gas station at 16th and southern in that long building.

My only complaint would be that I need you to get a white cheese. Queso blanco/fresco/oaxaca/asadero/etc(not the biggest fan of cotija), hell, even just monterey jack. That would prolly make this place 5 star for me. Its very good with quality portions, I just dont like cheddar in my burritos. If I wanted that, I'd get a cheeseburger. And I dont mean a mix either that has cheddar in it, just white cheese. For the place to be rated so well by me, everything else must have made up for it, thats just my opinion tho...

Went back a couple days later, didnt get the cheese this time. Definitely 5 star. Didnt ask if they got white cheese or not, if they did, its prolly the best in south phoenix for the price/serving.

Really delicious food for cheap stuff is very friendly and professional they recently opened for business I highly recommend this place ????
