MASKADORES TACO SHOP #22

I have been curious about this place! So today was the day I stopped in to try the food . To my surprise it wasn't what I expected it to be but better than I had expected.

I think I was having a conversation with the owner or manager of the store. I had to ask about the decor and its significance of the masks.

The art on the wall referred to the Mexican Wrestlers of the 1950s. He mentioned that it was very popular in the 50s 60s and well into the 70s. In Mexico, they were called Lucha Libre AKA a sport or masquerading entertainment.

I learned something new and now "nacho Libre" the movie makes sense to me. Ha ha ha 😂 🤣. I tried the street tacos with Carne asada and the meat was seasoned perfectly. They do have bottled drinks, orchata, jicama and fountain drinks. They also had a salsa bar and the chili's were hot.

Very good tacos. The staff is is very nice.

They have a full mexican restaurant menu but will also let you build your own tacos in a format much like Chipotle’s where select the protein and toopings.

They have beer too.
