    First off, let me begin with I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco and know an authentic torta ahogada when I see and taste one! It all begins with the bread! That’s the game changer and what distinguishes a REAL AUTHENTIC torta ahogada from others! El Sazón del Gordo brings his bread straight from my home town of Guadalajara and makes his carnitas in house which is a plus! The tomato sauce and Chile are amazing also! El sazón del gordo gets my 5 stars because it took me back to my childhood eating a mouth watering torta ahogada from the street vendor right outside my Guadalajara home!
