The Bagel Man

One of the last true Ahwatukee institutions you can count on, The Bagel Man is a business you should support if for no other reason than as a tribute to the American work ethic, but certainly for its excellent bagels and bagel sandwiches. I've tried the breakfast sandwiches from other bagel shops but none are as tasty or as quickly made as the ones from The Bagel Man. Get in there, grab some bagels, and leave a cash tip.

Bagels were stale. Would not get them toasted next time. Lox was good. Tomatoes cut too thick, onions not cut well enough. Don’t get the coffee! Scallion cream cheese good. Friendly staff. Will try again, but hoping bagel will not be stale next time. Still in search of the best bagel and lox sandwich in AZ.

Great bagels with better service! This is a no frills spot that instantly reminds you of an east coast bagel shop.

The Bagel Man is amazing. Oh the bread is crunchy yet soft. 😋 I love going for the breakfast egg n cheese with the cream cheese of course. The Lox is amazing too! Overall the man himself is the most kind person running a business over here in awahtukee foothills. Also it had been awhile since I have been here and I am loving the upgrades to the place. IYKYK ❤ If you haven't been just go. Even during and after the pandemic he is still going. This shows you how much the community loves him.

The everything bagel w/vegetable cream cheese is a 10/10. Chunks of cucumber & carrots etc in cream cheese is phenomenal. I’m addicted. He doesn’t do online or phone orders as he is into serving locals who stand in line. His credit card machine was down one day & everybody got free bagels. Ive been here ~10x in past 3 months and have seen nothing but hospitality among customers & owner. Lots of repeat customers & always a line. I go EARLY before 7am workday. I’d like to try more bagels/spreads but currently unable due to my full addiction to the everything bagel.
