This place is very simple. Wings and fries. You can't go wrong with either. Wings were delicious. The fries were nice and crispy. Portions are huge at a great price.
Amazing food! The special sauce pairs very well with the buffalo fries! Their customer service is so nice as well! Laura helped me out when I ordered and was so friendly! They have weekly deals on their food so definitely check them out and grab some food to go!
I struggle with forming an opinion about Buffalo Spot. The sauces are great and the wings, when fresh and eaten in store, are great as well. Staff are fantastic as well. The packaging they use makes the wings soggy if you take it to go. I live really close by, so it's not like there's a huge time delay between getting my order and getting it home. When i order on the phone or online, i think the wings end up sitting for a while before I get there so i stopped ordering that way. When i go to the store, order, and take it out, the results were better. But the same is true about the fries! They need to figure out a different packaging that doesn't trap the humidity with the heat because it takes a perfectly good wing and makes it not so good.
I wanted to hate it. The service was really slow and the restaurant was really loud and hectic and it took more than 20 minutes to get our food. It took so long that we decided to take it home to eat, which is why I wanted to hate it. Wow, the boneless wings and buffalo fries were definitely worth the wait. My son is obsessed with buffalo sauce and has been for a few years, and he was going nuts over it. The sauce is a little bit sweeter than we'd ever had before but was amazing, and the chicken was fantastic. I'm talking big chunks of pure chicken breast, not overly breaded or sauced either. I mean honestly 5-6 wings are the equivalent of a full chicken breast. Even the fries were great.
In short we'll definitely be returning, but we'll definitely order head and pick it up. That said, I think they suffer from a bit of identity crisis in that the restaurant looks, sounds and feels like a fast food joint where you're food is ready in 5 minutes. When really they are more of a sit down traditional style restaurant. Either way those are some excellent wings.
