The Casual Pint Central Phoenix

Cool spot in downtown Phoenix to grab a beer and spend time with friends. over 30 taps with a diverse selection of beer and plenty of cans/bottles available. The pricing is a problem though. The singles are advertised as 40% off when you buy 6, but they are marked up so much from the corresponding 2/4/6 packs that in some cases it's still more expensive after the discount. Example: Beer A was 16.99 for a 2 pack of cans. The same beer was being offered in singles at 13.49 per can.

Fun place! Service was excellent! Played music bingo and ate good food and drank good beer.. from recommendations for aforementioned excellent service professionals. What more do you want?. Would recommend.

You're not really going here for the food because they have amazing beer and lots of it. This is a great bar with a lot of televisions and games inside. The patio can be nice when the weather is milder but with heavy traffic in the area it gets really loud. You also are subject to transients walking by which can be entertaining but jarring. All of the staff I interacted with were wonderful and I enjoyed talking about my favorite episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. But let's be clear the food is absolutely atrocious.

I love it when places have small pours available. While I got two "glasses" of beer (both 10 oz. pours in my case...that's what the asterisks mean next to the prices on their chalkboard beer menu, by the way), they offer 5 oz. options as well (and crowlers and growlers). You can even buy beer from the refrigerator and drink it at the bar (an impossible luxury in my home state of Texas). They have an excellent selection of unchilled beer to go as well. Overall, a great place to try a fantastic selection of craft beer. On my next trip to Phoenix, I will be back!!
