Babbo Italian Eatery

We decided to try out this restaurant at 12:30 PM on a Sunday. When we got there there were only two families eating and we stood at the front to be seated for a few about 5 minutes. There weren’t any employees around to show us to a table. We were eventually seated.

The waiter brought us bread which was very delicious along with vinegar and oil plates.
I ordered the Pasta Martini which I would give 2 stars out of 5. The dish wasn’t very flavorful and it was too creamy. We ordered a sausage, pepperoni, mushroom pizza for the kids. The pizza was pretty good. my husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs which was just OK.

The family that was beside us had left and the high chair that their toddler was in had made a made a huge mess of pasta all over the table high chair and the floor.
The waiter decided to pull the highchair (see picture) out and left everything for us to see which was pretty gross. It seemed that the waiter wasn’t in a rush to clean up the mess and we just sat there and stared at the pasta as we were trying to eat our lunch.

My husband and I always look at each other and ask if we would return to eat at a restaurants.
This restaurant is a maybe. I would like to try out another dish and hopefully the service is better next time around.

On Monday's Babbo's has all you can eat spaghetti for $6.99. The meatballs were delicious, but the sauce was forgettable. The service was fair at best. The server brought my food, but no utensils. A few minutes later the manager saw I didn't have utensils and brought some over. Then the server brought out the bread just as I had finished eating.

The food here is very flavorful and filling. Every table is served some wonderful bread that is really good. This is a spot that you should try if you like Italian, it's not your run off the mill mass produced food, they add several touches to even Italian staples which sets them apart from everyone else.

This was our first time in and the food was very good. We ordered one lunch special and one main dish so we could sample a little pizza, salad and pasta. Our waiter Max was exceptional. He noticed us trading plates back and forth and smiled as if to give us a nod of approval. All of the other staff we came in contact with were friendly and anxious to make sure we were taken care of as well. We were very comfortable in the restaurant and will be back soon!
