Our experience here was fantastic! I highly recommend making a reservation in advance though. We walked in on a Thursday night, not realizing we would need a reservation and there was a short wait for a table but we waited at the bar and the bartender was very nice. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful but the food was phenomenal! The fish is so fresh and the scallops practically melt in your mouth! The portions were also extremely impressive and it is a one of a kind experience since the entire restaurant is underground. I will definitely be coming back.

    Exceptional underground elegance!
Having grown up on the Pacific coast, I am very used to fresh seafood and had high expectations from what I had read about the Salt Cellar.

When I dined here with my family, my high expectations were completely fulfilled. I was amazed at how fresh and good everything we had to eat was.

My daughter got to pick out her very own lobster (which was the size of my forearm!). She loved it, both as the food and the experience.

I ordered a plate of crab legs, and this is where things got fun. They bring out the tray, and these legs are huge, but then, the server cracked the crab FOR ME! I've eaten a lot of crustacean, but haven't ever had someone open it for me.
It was fantastic! All the pleasure eating the crab (with butter and lemon of course) without any of the work of digging the meat out of the shell.

While I can't afford to eat here all that often, I'm sure I'll be back to the best seafood I've had in Arizona.

Thanks to everyone at the Salt Cellar for a wonderful meal and experience!

Overall great experience. We didn’t have reservations so we were appreciative that we got seated right away. The food was AMAZING! Great customer service by our waitress... will definitely go back!

Had almost lost hope in finding decent lobster but was rewarded for my leap of faith. Tender and flavorful all the way through. I'm a believer once again. Friendly and attentive staff. We came for mid-week dinner. There's also a bar with happy hours. Dinner is pricey but worth it. Appetizers were good. Desserts were meh. Recommended reservations.

Absolutely lovely. We even brought our own birthday cake which was served to us after our excellent dinner. Rather pricey but the food was exquisite. Good service very nice... very nice.
We ordered the shrimp scampi and one order of the crab stuffed shrimp which I liked the best.
