First Watch - Carefree

I had heard about First Watch from several different friends that had visited the Phoenix area and they all recommended it strongly. It exceeded my expectations by far! There was no wait for a table for two at around 10am on a Monday. The server was super friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The food was amazing! I got the banana granola pancakes with bacon and eggs and my wife got an egg sandwich with potatoes on the side. Both meals were fantastic and the portions were huge. We're going back tomorrow for sure!

Really great food, service was slow but we had a party of eight. Everyone liked the million dollar bacon it was maple flavored, sweet and salty. I highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes, they are served with lemon curd and strawberries. These pancakes were so light (for a pancake) fluffy and delightful. Waffles and french toast were both enjoyed without complaint. If your looking for something more savory the skillet with eggs peppers onions and veggies was quite good. There were quite a few cute touches on the walls and throughput. We all liked the silverware wraps that said I love you more than bacon. We tasted the juice, ginger refresher I think it was called wake up. (My hubby loved it) Waters and coffees were filled up as needed. Other than the initial slowness for ordering and delivering food the servers were very friendly and attentive. (We had a group of 8 and we were in no hurry so it was not a big deal) I'm sure we will be back, we all liked the food so much!!

Best local breakfast and lunch spot. Fresh delicious food. Friendly and we'll run. Good servers. Good prices.

This First Watch is my fave. The people working here seem so happy and are just welcoming. And the vibe inside is comfy and neighborly. Hard to pick the best menu items but we enjoyed avocado toast with eggs and a skillet with hash. The carrot cake pancake was a tasty treat.
